The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together.

Phew! What a weekend. Non-stop family. Loved it!
Started my weekend on Friday with lunch on the deck with my sisters. We really need to do that more often so we can stay in touch better.
And finished off the weekend at a Routhier Family Reunion. A reunion that proved, as always, to be highly entertaining.
I'm going to need a week to recover!
