American Folk Festival

After three years of hosting the National Folk Festival, our little town decided to continue the tradition by hosting their own American Folk Festival.

It's a wonderful weekend of music and food; and this year promises to be full of sunshine!

If you are local, be sure to get out and enjoy it.  God blessed with this wonderful gift of music and we should enjoy what He provides.

Heading out into my beloved wilderness....

I love to be outdoors, especially deep in the woods. Away from city life and all it's craziness. I was thinking about our camping trip and how much I am looking forward to getting away and having some peaceful rest, and I got to thinking about John Denver. I love his music.

So in honor of our first camping trip of the year and the rest I know we'll all enjoy, I offer you some John Denver.
