I have two older sisters and one older brother.  Yep, I'm the baby of the family, amongst four children born to my parents.

Family is very important to me.

I'm thinking about family today because it seems it's going to be one big family weekend.

Today, I am going to lunch with my sisters; a lunch that is long overdue.  Tomorrow, we are heading up to my sister-in-law's house to celebrate our niece's and nephew's birthday (which just happens to be on the same day).  Sunday finds us traveling for a bi-annual reunion of my mother's family.

Good times are to be had this weekend.

And that's the way it should be when family is together.  Lots of hugs, lots of laughter, sharing of memories and connections re-kindled.

I love my family.
