Out of Commission

Hello friends.

I have been out of commission since Saturday.

Somehow, cleaning my bathroom resulted in a pinched nerve.  I have been unable to work (lots of typing required) and in a tremendous amount of pain.

I knew housework was hazardous to my health and now I have given my hubby proof!  ::wink, wink::

Tried to get medical attention on Monday, but that was a complete fiasco.  I won't get into details as I've already vented elsewhere about his incompetencies.

Today I went to see my old chiropractor.  Not 100% relief, but at least I can type without crying and I can move my neck more freely.  Hubby went with me and was surprised at how much mobility I had when we left the appointment.  I think he has been converted.  Will probably need a few more adjustments, but I am on the mend. 

For anyone interested, my chiropractor is Steve Arsenault at Orono Chiropractic.  Not sure if he has a website; I will have to check and advertise for him here.  He is wonderful.  I highly recommend him.

So, I haven't posted for this reason.

I am also waiting eagerly for a devotional book I ordered from David Jeremiah.   Hubby and I have been watching him on TV and have been greatly encouraged (and a bit convicted) by the series he is currently preaching.  It's based on his devotional book "Signs of Life" which you can find here.

In keeping with my recent revelation about believing God and what He tells me, I think this book will give me direction and encouragement to step up my walk...and walk out my faith.

I will be sharing my progress as I go along.
